Kyree has broken a toenail. The dewclaw nail and it's been bleeding like a stuck pig. We wrapped it with gauze and tape, it's all we had on us. She's pulled the gauze off, but the tape is still there. I may call the vet in the morning and see what he wants to do.

I am blessed.

Took Kyree to the vet. She'd broken the nail past the nerve and he had to sedate her to cut it. Took care of it and the rest of her nails, which weren't bad, but while he was there....

Gave her the wake up shot. He said she's take a minute, but when she lifted her head, she could get off the table and walk. She lay there FOREVAR! He banged doors, dropped tools, made all sorts of noise. She watched him, but refused to move. Finally he tickled her hind feet and she lifted her head. Lazy mutt was perfectly fine taking a nap on the cool metal table.

We also found out she's missing some teeth. Apparently these particular teeth tend to get lost when dogs pull on wire. Like the wire surrounding our fence. The fence that Houdini dog keeps finding new holes in.

Feeling like a moron. Noticed that the car was overheating. Like OMG, WE'RE GONNA BLOW UP ANY SECOND kinda overheating. I made haste for the house and called the Father-in-Law. He came over, looked under the hood, and promptly pointed out that the reservoir and the radiator were basically bone dry.

3/4 gallon of antifreeze and a half gallon of water later and the car was once again running fine.

Part of me knows that I could have figured that out for myself once upon a time.

Work's changing. We had a meeting today. It started out with us wondering if we were still going to have jobs. Turns out, we do, but our schedules are changing. Looks like I may be switching to a 7-3 schedule. As in 7PM to 3AM. I should be okay with it. I'm a night owl anyway.

We also found out that the Lawton Casino will be getting the new machines in first. These machines are going to mean they need fewer cashiers and some of us will likely be looking for new work or be getting transferred to another department. Part of that decision will be based on attitude and attendance.

But since we're still in a holding pattern for the new machines, this means I still have a few months to get myself either settled in deeper or get myself to a point where I can transfer to another department.

If that means I have to work till 3AM during the week, I'm game. They said weekends looked like the shift would likely be 5PM-1AM which is only an hour off what I work now, so no biggie there.

I ran from noon until 6 today. And I'm out of my Cymbalta. The pharmacy told me the insurance wouldn't cover it until April 11th. The headshrinker upped my dose, which apparently wasn't pre-approved by the insurance company. So tomorrow I have to make a million calls, trying to get the Doc to call the insurance company, the insurance company to notify the pharmacy, and the pharmacy to fill the script.

I also have to go get blood drawn for a pregnancy test and then get my Depo shot.

I'm tired. Pooped. Run down and run out.
