Kyree has broken a toenail. The dewclaw nail and it's been bleeding like a stuck pig. We wrapped it with gauze and tape, it's all we had on us. She's pulled the gauze off, but the tape is still there. I may call the vet in the morning and see what he wants to do.

My dog got this fatty tumor... thing... on her foot once she got older, right in the joint of the back leg to where every time she sat it put pressure on it. It would bleed sometimes and there was nothing we could do to keep it bandaged. We finally had to have the vet surgically remove it. :/

Why was Kyree's dewclaw not removed?

We got her as a stray. It just never was an issue. Her dew claws have never been a problem before.

do you have talc powder or corn starch? If you pack whats left of the nail with either of those it'll stop the bleeding.

Do you guys have that powder that stops bleeding? I believe it is like just a few dollars and is in the nail section. Incase you accidentally cut the nail and it bleeds. Styptic powder? I had to use it once on my dog. He totally ripped off a nail and it stopped it from bleeding and healed up.
