(no subject)

My weekend has arrived. The hours have changed. And things roll on. I have an appointment with my headshrinker tomorrow at 2ish. I have a house to clean in the next 3 days. I have laundry to catch up on and fabric to shop for.

And there's that wedding to get ready for next weekend.

Thus far I have started picking up here in the living room. Washing the couch covers now. Picking up soda cans and bits of assorted debris. There's a smell in the kitchen that I need to track down tomorrow.

Validation

I watched this and I thought of two people on my friends list specifically. They are always taking the time to tell people how awesome they are. To me, they are the spirit shown in this video. I know they have bad days like everyone else, but it seems like the sun is always shining on them. Maybe they are better at peering through the clouds to see it.

On my cloudy days I feel like I purposefully skip past their sunshine. But it's days like that when I most need to stop and bask in the warmth they put out.
