I may or may not be randomly wandering through your friends lists this afternoon and evening, looking for random entertainment to engage the brain, articles of deep thought provoking topic, and/or interesting crafty types of communities. Said journals may or may not get friended. More likely friended.

That being said, who would you suggest I go look at/friend. THAT being said, which of your friends should look into getting the appropriate shots, should I friend them? :)

In April I went through a really rough spot with my former job. As a result, my posts have been locked down tighter than a nun's butt at a Frat Party. However, in the spirit of friendship, I have added you new people to my filters....so there is something to read.

Not much though, cause I ended up making the rest of my journal private prior to Apr. 27th or so. I am in the process of opening it back up, but considering I've been on LJ since 2000, this is taking a little more time than I thought.

EDIT: Everything from start of journal to Jan. 2005 is now friends locked. Some 3000+ entries. Everything past that is still private. Gonna have to hand change those I think.

Things are a little weird right now, as I've been job hunting for a month now, and it's a rough ride. Things have not worked out the way I thought they would. And that's probably for the better. But I'm looking to be gainfully employed again next week, so hopefully things will start looking up.

So, who is Sorcha?

Sorcha is a 30 something wench, living not in Paradise City Fiji as her profile says, but somewhere just under the buckle of the bible belt, and just north of plenty of places they could have filmed Deliverance. Texas is a state of mind, and I just don't get it all the time.

Sorcha is a wench. It's her chosen profession. Although she has to pretend to be a mild mannered normal person most days, until the Grail Shaped Beacon is lit (see Monty Python and the Holy Grail) and she once again springs into action, defeating bad guys, rescuing kittens, and saving the world.

Sorcha used to be a professional herder of other people's children at a place she refers to as Happy Acres. Sorcha is trained in defensive arts that with the right motivation could hurt a lot if applied to other people.

Sorcha lives with 5 dogs, 3 cats, 1 husband, and a roommate. Sorcha has the possibility of turning into a crazy cat lady. Sorcha does not knit though.

Sorcha has varied interests and friends. Sorcha has been known to be slightly sarcastic. Sorcha thinks that the rest of her friends list will argue the slightly part.

Sorcha is currently seeking employment within the Mafia. She intends on being a money exchanger for said organization.

Sorcha welcomes all who want to reciprocate the friending, or ask her to bugger off.

Blame the tea.....

I've had 96oz of tea today. Since 1:30 to be specific. And all the assorted side effects that come with it.

Had to apologize to Demon this afternoon, when she got home. Last night I made moves on TMF, things progressed, and as we were.....reaching a mutual conclusion...she was woken by our *discussion*, and got up to go to the bathroom.

At that point, TMF collapsed on me in a fit of giggles, because see....we forgot to shut the door. And we weren't trying to be quiet. When he mentioned that to me, I started giggling...but I maintain mine was muffled as I was on my face in the pillows.

As she told me this afternoon, it registered at the time, but she forgot, until I mentioned it. And she said that we had either walked in on, observed her own, or were hearing witnesses to her own *discussions* that she figured we owed her one.

There's a big to-do about a woman posting seriously hateful things after attending WiseCon. Here's some info.

Seriously. It takes a genius. After the Open Source Boob thing, it takes a freakin rocket scientist to put something like that on the web.

And here's a response from one of the participants of WiseCon.

You know, being fat isn't a lifestyle choice. And my human need for revenge makes me desire the same level of abuse that we fat people face, dished out to those people who think they are better because their pants size is smaller.
