In April I went through a really rough spot with my former job. As a result, my posts have been locked down tighter than a nun's butt at a Frat Party. However, in the spirit of friendship, I have added you new people to my filters....so there is something to read.
Not much though, cause I ended up making the rest of my journal private prior to Apr. 27th or so. I am in the process of opening it back up, but considering I've been on LJ since 2000, this is taking a little more time than I thought.
EDIT: Everything from start of journal to Jan. 2005 is now friends locked. Some 3000+ entries. Everything past that is still private. Gonna have to hand change those I think.
Things are a little weird right now, as I've been job hunting for a month now, and it's a rough ride. Things have not worked out the way I thought they would. And that's probably for the better. But I'm looking to be gainfully employed again next week, so hopefully things will start looking up.

So, who is Sorcha?
Sorcha is a 30 something wench, living not in Paradise City Fiji as her profile says, but somewhere just under the buckle of the bible belt, and just north of plenty of places they could have filmed Deliverance. Texas is a state of mind, and I just don't get it all the time.
Sorcha is a wench. It's her chosen profession. Although she has to pretend to be a mild mannered normal person most days, until the Grail Shaped Beacon is lit (see Monty Python and the Holy Grail) and she once again springs into action, defeating bad guys, rescuing kittens, and saving the world.
Sorcha used to be a professional herder of other people's children at a place she refers to as Happy Acres. Sorcha is trained in defensive arts that with the right motivation could hurt a lot if applied to other people.
Sorcha lives with 5 dogs, 3 cats, 1 husband, and a roommate. Sorcha has the possibility of turning into a crazy cat lady. Sorcha does not knit though.
Sorcha has varied interests and friends. Sorcha has been known to be slightly sarcastic. Sorcha thinks that the rest of her friends list will argue the slightly part.
Sorcha is currently seeking employment within the Mafia. She intends on being a money exchanger for said organization.
Sorcha welcomes all who want to reciprocate the friending, or ask her to bugger off.
