The squirrels sure are working hard this morning on my pecan tree. I've rarely seen them move fast enough, or often enough to take note. I'm officially taking note now. And wondering if this bodes ill for the winter.

Geese have been gorging pretty good and the catapillars have been fuzzy. I suspect winter shall be harsh.
