remember to toot your own horn, is the advice I always forget to follow. Don't take it for granted they know what you actually did in your jobs--did you get commendations, bonuses, come in first in some employee ranking scale or awards, did you figure out ways to improve whatever it was you were doing, did you end up in leadership positions somehow? Every job listing should have a bulleted list below it highlighting what you achieved while there (using all those action words that resume websites suggest ;).
also, organizing stuff for the SCA can also count as experience, if not paid employment. ;) but you have to play down the SCA part and play up the organizing parts of it...
