The house across the street has, for many a moon, been known for the less than desirable tenants it seems to attract. We had drug users there once, residents who threw beer bottles into the street, residents who let their dogs run wild.

The owner has finally decided to step in and he's fixing it up. He's a contractor apparently and has many handyman skills. Next door neighbor tells me he is going to move in to this house now. Which is fine by me, since he's quiet, relatively normal, and until today, had done nothing to make me question his sanity.

Key words. UNTIL TODAY.

Couple of days ago, he stripped the old paint off the house.

Great, it needed painted.

But he's painting it PURPLE.

GRAPE APE PURPLE.

We're kinda hoping this is some sort of primer......

Purple sometimes turns grey. Just before last summer's Crown Tournament, our apartment complex test painted our building with purple trim. We took it as a sign that Gunthar would win (which he did). However, the trim turned grey within two weeks as it aged. So, no purple and white building.
