Random....right....
1. I may have posted this before, but I'm having trouble with random things, much less interesting random things. I have sea urchin spines calcified in my right ankle. When I lived in Panama we were out walking the reef during low tide on the Atlantic side when Dad thought he would throw an urchin to me, not knowing I would react by sticking my damn leg out to deflect it. In hindsight, had I not moved, the sea urchin would have likely landed harmlessly in a pool near me.
2. I type with 2 fingers. I generally do most of my typing with only my index fingers. I use my ring fingers for things like the CAPS lock or the backspace button, but otherwise, I am solely a 2 finger typer. Last time I checked I typed about 90-100WPM, but that was when I charted as part of my job. In my current job I add tickets on a 10 key calculator with only 2 fingers.
3. I have a weakness for most things Zombie. Although I'm not as prepared for zombie invasion as I would like, I am a fount of knowledge on zombies, infection, defense strategies, and survival methods for when the Z-War starts.
4. When I was in my late teens or so I had a fever so high I that I hallucinated that I hung big multi-colored Xmas lights on the saucer section of the Enterprise with Captain Picard and afterwards had cocoa at the Xmas party in Ten Forward with Guinan, and the whole crew.
5. I was tutored privately through a good portion of my JR High years due to an awakening social anxiety disorder. I went to a work at your own pace high school where the student body equaled no more than 30 kids. I tie this anxiety disorder to an early talent of Empathy showing up that I had no idea how to control.
6. I've had my naked body on display a couple of times at a semi-local bondage club. I've showered in front of an audience, I've been chained to a wall, I've been set on fire. And I enjoyed every minute of it. It was very liberating for me, who normally has pretty big self image issues.
