Never got a call back from the plumber. But apparently Father-in-Law is planning on coming over at 8:30 in the morning to crawl under the house. No, there's no guarantee that he can fix the tub. But he feels it's necessary to try before calling a professional.

Don't get me wrong. If he can fix it, I'll love him forever. But there was a dead mouse in the pipe. There is God only knows what else in there, living or dead. Plumbing can be costly to repair, especially if first *looked at* by non-professionals.

I did call my Doctor. Apparently they want me to repeat my chest X-ray tomorrow. I'm hoping that this is just to make sure the bronchitis is gone and not for some other reason.

I'm OFF!!!!! For two lovely days. Good thing too. People were starting to get on my last nerve.

I have to figure out my plans tomorrow. I have a sneaky suspicion that I have been chosen to chauffeur Virginia to get her hair cut and possibly to a clinic or the ER again. This would make me not happy because this was never asked or directly mentioned. Just some odd phrasing that makes me think I am going to be called in the morning....

Plans this weekend include the never ending cycle of cleaning in the kitchen. Gotta do the catboxes. Phew. Should do the bedroom. And I have crafty things....so I'll be making earrings and pins for work this next 2 days.

Ok inquiring minds want to know ... um how did a mouse get in the pipes? Does that mean they went down from your bathtub? If so how did the cats miss it? If not... pipes are sealed... so how did it get in unless you got a open pipe/broken pipe under the house?

*shudders at the thought of going under the house alone!* Creapy!!

We figure it went down the drain. As for the cats, these are the knuckleheads who, just a few weeks ago, caught a mouse 4 times and who, after presenting the mouse to Demon and I, let said mouse go 4 times. I ended up catching the damn thing and throwing it out into the yard.

They probably chased Mr. Mouse into the bathroom and Mr. Mouse took the only available exit.
