How do you explain to the cat that Mommy is trying to get sick and doesn't need cat fur up her already stuffy sinuses?

Then he gets demanding that Mommy's feelings don't matter and she WILL pet the cat or the cat will nip and claw at her. Repeatedly.

It's a battle to the death. He's trying to kill me and if he nips me again, I'm going to kill him.

Me thinks you need a cat-apult. Feline ballista would probably be preferable, but doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

Oz does this, too -- mostly to me, mostly when Daddy is not paying attention to him (or here to do it). He'll perch in my lap at the computer, purring. When I keep typing, I get a soft-mouthed drool on my wrist. That is just a warning.

My ONLY warning.

Each "mouthing" after that is a successively harder bite. He's drawn blood. There is no Silent Treatment or ignoring the Ozymandius -- look upon his works, and despair.
