Well, it was...a day. Not good. Not bad. Just a day. I invited Mark and Virginia over for dinner. I hadn't heard about my tarot appointment, so around 6, I started chopping onions and a red pepper. Virginia decided to try and call Tandy, to see if this chick L. was going to come by today or not.

That's when we heard the knock at the door.

L. wants concrete answers and I didn't have em. She's wearing her blinders nice and tight and when her divorce does come, I'm sure she'll claim to have been completely oblivious that there was ever any trouble. Despite the fact that EVERY reading she gets is about her marriage and the fact that she and he are bordering on divorce every minute.

She will get from my reading what she chooses. I gave her an hour and 40 minutes of my time, provided her with an in depth 11 card reading, and gave her notes from the reading afterwards.

All that and a bit of a Reiki reading for $25.

Now, that being said, I gotta say, what a weird reading. She wanted to know about her marriage, the fact that her husband wants a divorce, and that she thinks he's cheating on her.

1st card was relating to a broken family. 2nd card related to the Father figure of the family. One of the cards warned her against making accusations without proof. From my standpoint, it was crystal clear. She needs to work on her first. She needs to be the change she wants to see.

And she still wanted a yes or no....will my marriage survive?

::facepalm::

After the reading, we had curry. And Cloverfield. And now I have a motion sickness headache. TMF didn't like the ending. He's into happy endings. This one wasn't so much so.

Gonna read now. Watch some Family Guy. And chill.

We saw Cloverfield last weekend - I had much the same problem with it, I kept having to close my eyes to reassure myself that my world wasn't actually moving. Interesting style of filming, but I don't think it'll catch on.

See, that's why I don't like reading for just anyone =( I hate when I can see and say clearly what the cards are trying to impart, but the person the reading is for is all LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU TELL ME WHAT I WANT. *facepalm* That might not be entirely the woman's trouble, but it sure sounds like it. Blah!

I agree. I think you should have fun with her the next time she wants one. Turn over the cards and do a lot of ooohhh and ahhhhhing. Tell her that her husband will run off with a woman twice his age that he will meet on a dock just before the boat sets sail to a far away island.

Pause for effect

Then smack her in the head like the V8 commercials and tell her no amount of cards will enhance common sense. And consider this her wake up call to listen to common sense and if she doesn't, she might as well have readings like this because she's not going to get a thing out of them.
