Man Plans, God Laughs.....

I actually got up early, with intent to clean house before getting out for our afternoon plans. This did not happen as fast as I would have wanted. And as it turned out, I did not get anything done before we had to leave to get to the movie theater.

We were going to see the Cirque, right? Until the ticket teen told me that it was going to cost me $40.

Guess who did not go see the Cirque.

Since I have a possible tarot reading to do this weekend, we went to the In-Law's house to print out a few spreadsheets for recording the reading. That's something I like to do, if I'm giving a reading for someone I don't know well, or talk to on a regular basis.

I also had to print out a spreadsheet for my schedule at work.

These things took forever.

And now, we're home again. It's almost 3 in the afternoon and I have succeeded in picking up...a little....here in the living room and removing towels and trash from the bathroom.

But that's about it. We've got to head back out here in a minute. We need cat and dog food, cat litter, spark plugs, wires, and injector cleaner for the car.

And I still need to finish cleaning.

Today is an ARRRRGH kinda day.

$40 is cheap. last show I went to was $75 but lemme tell you it was *so* worth it.

Dnag, $40 for the Cirque?? I've never seen it for unde $80--you were getting a serious deal!! Sorry you couldn't go... :( It's absolutely fantastic (at least it was for me, 'cause I'd never seen it on TV or anything when I saw it live. People who have seen all the specials on TV say seeing it live is not as gripping as it might be, 'cause you know what to expect).

Oh geez, a MOVIE?? yeah, that's way too steep for just a movie... What were they doing, handing out gold-plated tickets??
