Motivation: Yard Work
Aug. 17th, 2008 06:25 pmWell, I've whacked everything I can reach with the weedeater plugged in the front of the house. I suppose I could run the cord through the backdoor now and get farther out into the back 40, but I'm pooped. And my hands are vibrating.
I decided while I was out there, trimming along the fence, that I would take the trimmer to the weeds in the driveway itself. Texas is notorious for weeds, and given enough time without human intervention, grass and broadleaf weeds will reclaim human civilization. Our driveway is a prime example of this theory becoming fact.
However, running a string trimmer against grass and concrete tends to wear the string out rather quickly. Which is them point I'm at now. I have to try and reload this thing so I can finish the front half of the driveway.
