Apparently my brain is taking it easy today too. I took TMF to work with the intent on stopping at the fabric store and possibly getting fabric for new work pants. On the drive downtown, Virginia called. She said she might catch a bus and come over. That's when I had one of those "Did I leave the stove on?" moments.

I didn't lock the front door when we left. It's not something I do everyday anymore. Somewhere between getting my keys and letting TMF out first (cause I have to lock the door) and grabbing my shades, the whole locking process was lost.

Genius. I can't haz it.

So, I dropped TMF at work and rushed home. No fabric store for me today. But I suppose it's okay. If I have to, I can score another pair of pants from Wal-Mart and rig them for my leg length, which appears to be about 4 inches longer than ladies the pants are meant for.

Now I suppose I'm waiting for Virginia to come over. A few months ago she gave me a bag of movies, telling me they belonged to me and a coworker from Happy Acres, that I borrowed them from. She thanks me for loaning them to her and makes a comment about how she needs to get blank disks because she wants copies of some of them....her favorites.

Last week, after the move, she calls and complains that she's missing movies. She's sure they've been stolen, she just doesn't know how. She goes on to list a couple of the movies. They were her "very favorite movies, and now they are missing...."

Anyone wanna guess where they are?

Yeah. They've been sitting here for weeks.

In the process now of making myself some Alfredo for Brluntea. Brluntea is that meal you have when it's way too late for breakfast, too late for brunch, running a bit behind for lunch, and a little early for teatime.
