Well....my internet issues continue. I called the local store today, they gave me a new modem, to try and resolve my connection issues.

I got home, set it up, called Tech Support for finishing the set-up and found out that the freaking TOWER has been having issues....for at least a week and a half, of not two weeks.

The exact length of time I've been having issues.

I did get a new modem out of this, and got my account credited for half a month. So I'm good. And the new modem does seem to be making some difference. We've were dealing with 10-15 minute waits for pages to load (with multiple clicking of the refresh option). We're now loading at normal speed, with minor hiccups requiring reloading.

I dread checking my mail. I haven't been able to get into it for over a week.

I'm currently laid out here in the bed with my foot up, while I set up the new modem. It's been cramping all morning and I have a burning sensation in it/on it. Feels like my foot is on fire. Still swollen too. After stopping at the computer store, we went to Hel-Mart and bought some staples. I was planning on grilling tonight. So I bought steaks and beer. They're marinating now in the fridge.

I cleaned out the fridge while I was getting the steaks ready. I was going to go visit Virginia this afternoon, but I realized now there's a mountain of dishes to be done. And then there's the laundry issues. I need to wash my work clothes for this next week.

So I suppose I'll go do that.

They're working on it, according to Tech Guy. Since I have no idea what's wrong, I really don't know how long it'll take em to fix it. Things are going much smoother, so it's possible that they had a week of trouble, then the holiday weekend, and now that the week has started, they are able to really get to work on it.

How long has your foot been bothering you? Does it hurt when it's not cramping?

I tried to check on WebMD, but I have a hard time finding specifics on that site. Only thing I could think of is gout. Lay off the salt and if it continues, you need to check with the doctor. I don't think swelling along with cramping happens just because.
