when it's brand spanking new I squeeze from the middle then after it's a bit deflated I roll from the bottom.

But that's how I learned to do tubes in compounding class...

I normally squeeze from the middle, but probably halfway into the tube, I squeeze from the end. I'm weird, but that's how I roll ;)

IT depends ... a new tube .. in the middle. When it's almost empty .. I roll it from end to end.
