Our 16yo pug had really bad arthritis and a supplement called "The Missing Link: Plus" worked really well for her. It was just a powder we sprinkled on her wet food and mixed it in. It has stuff in it for arthritis and joint health.

Our Corgi has awful hip problems. We give him chewable glucosamine/chondroitin and half a chewable Rimadyl (prescription we order from PetMeds.com) in the morning, otherwise he wouldn't be able to go for his walk. Sometimes he needs another half a Rimadyl in the evening.
