Casa De Wenchy: Henna & Cooking

Sherry came knocking on the door around 7:30. She decided we were coloring my hair. Tonight. She's been wanting to play with the henna for a while now, and since she's doing my hair in the morning, she wanted to make sure it was colored too.

So, we had a quick lesson in Henna, spices, and what goes into the mix. And I'm sitting here, gooped.

I figure I'll give it another hour or so and rinse it out. Get a shower too, since I got sweaty from mowing the lawn today.

Tomorrow I'll get up, wash my hair, and get over to Sherry's so she can braid it.

Dinner. Awesome. Tasty pork. Potatoes were good too. Much nom nom nom-ing was had.

Ooooh! I've only ever done pre-mixed-pre-bought henna for my skin, does it cover grey hairs?

Yeah, it will. I add paprika and chili powder, mix it with a red tea. Although you could mix it with coffee or regular tea. You can add pomegrante juice, all sorts of things.
