Sep. 11th, 2008 06:22 pmWhen Hurricane Gustav came through we got some wind and very little rain. See, it's 661.79 miles from New Orleans to Wichita Falls. The storm had a decent amount of land to cover before it got to us.
Now Ike is projected to come straight up the middle of Texas. And as Demon just told me, rumor has it that Oklahoma City could expect 100MPH winds when Ike reaches them. It's 444.78 miles from Houston, Texas to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
I'm guessing it'll be windy and rainy, but 100mph? This could be another case of Midwestern OH NOEZ, IT'S A STORM!!!!".
