Today's WTF
Jun. 2nd, 2008 05:41 pmNormally most bugs don't bother me. Unless they are found crawling on me, without obtaining prior approval. Then I de-evolve into a shrieking 10 year old girl, slapping myself hard enough to make my Mother feel it, and dancing the primitive dance known to most of humanity as GETITOFFGETITOFF!!!!!.
Larger bugs are given a 50/50 chance of acknowledgment vs. shrieking. Chances are greatly improved if there is knowledge that man has little to fear from said creature. If the bug is a large hairy spider, it's chances are severely decreased dependant on size, hair, and knowledge of species.
Bugs that are observed, prior to climbing, bugs that are watched, in areas that allow for safe escape, are fine.
However, that being said....there is NOTHING comforting about having read about these bugs.
